CeBIT, the largest trade fair for information technology in Europe, will be held from 2 to 6 March, in Hannover, Germany.

Two team members Phone2Business will be going to represent the company and also to contact with potential partners and equipment suppliers, and of course to know what's latest in the IT world.

"This event will be of great value to our company, because we are trying to expand our operations in Europe and Asia and being there, we can talk face to face with several companies in our industry and to assess possible forms of partnership to strengthen our business." The realization of CeBIT, undoubtedly contributes to the growth of Brazilian companies that see the event an ideal platform for expanding their business internationally.
In a recent survey released by the European Information Technology Observatory (Eito), the market for Information Technology and Communication Technology (ITC) in Brazil has shown an impressive growth in recent years and will thrive even more this year. It is estimated to increase by 6.2% compared to 2009, proving that the brazilian market continues to offer significant potential for development in the area. "The service sector promises to be the most promising for Brazil in this year, as the market volume has increased from 8 billion euros in 2006 to 10.7 billion euros in 2009 and is still growing strongly. And we intend to CeBIT greatly expand our ideas of projects and businesses", said Ricardo Pinto, CEO of Phone2Business.


Brazilian participation

In this 25th edition of CeBIT, Brazil will once again with two collectives stand : one for software companies and one for Telecom, in the "Project Brazilian Participation in CeBIT 2010".
The project, which has the support of Hannover Fairs in Brazil, is performed by Softex (Association for Promotion of Brazilian Software Excellence), Softsul (Association of Rio Grande-Southern to Support Software Development) and Anprotec (National Association of Promoting Innovative Enterprises).


CeBIT numbers

In its latest edition, CeBIT attracted audience of more than 100 countries. Were 4,300 exhibitors from 69 countries, 200 thousand meters of exhibition area and 400 thousand visitors from 77 countries. Of the total visitors, 73.9% had power of investment and 37.2% had specific intentions to invest. In a total 7 billion euros in turnover. CeBIT 2009 also had 6000 accredited journalists coming from 62 countries and 135 hours of news reports assisted by 1.1 billion people.
